No more www

Following a link in the WordPress Dashboard, I stumbled upon the No WWW website, which explains why we should all drop the prefix www. on domain names. As I had a mixture of both, I went through all my posts/pages and updated them to reflect that philosophy. If you come across something that stopped working, I would very much appreciate that you contact me and tell me about it.

Nice to see I’m not the only one :)

I must have saved literally minutes off my life by omitting “www” from URLs, although I’ve probably wasted a few more when server configs have thrown back a “page not found”…

I can see where your coming from, the whole www subdomain thing does seem silly when you think about it. But what is even dafter is how long it takes to say “double you double you double you dot” i much prefer the “wu wu wu” approach. I dont think its one of those things that will ever change, there are too many simpletons in the world who rely on www
